My dear husband whisked me away on Sunday for a quick two day trip to Chicago. We had a wonderful time together as we went for bike rides along the lake shore, shopping along Michigan Ave., soaking up some sun and eating PF Chang's Chinese take out back at the room. On the way home we stopped in Michigan City for some great Labor Day sales at the outlet mall.
Uncle Virgil and Aunt Aimee bravely kept the boys for us (diapering around Michael's body cast and all). Jonathan left this afternoon for the CEDIA convention in Denver for the next five days. We were so blessed that Virgil and Aimee gave of the their time (and tons of energy) to allow us some one on one time before Jonathan's business trip.
