The boys each made us laugh today with the following:
Lil J as we were walking into a store, noticed a large water tower.
He asked, "Mommy, what's that?"
Me: "That's a water tower. It holds water for all of the people in the city."
Lil J: "No, it doesn't, Mommy. I think it just holds gas for airplanes."
Then tonight as we were eating homemade pizza with ham and pineapple, Michael kept asking for more "apple pie". I couldn't figure out what he meant until I asked him if he wanted more "pineapple". He emphatically said, "Yes, more apple pie". Finally I realized that when we say "pineapple", he thinks we're saying "pie"-apple. He must think we're the ones saying it backwards and so he calls it, "apple pie".
