This afternoon we celebrated Michael's 3rd Birthday. He told me he wanted a "yellow party". He loves the color yellow and so I decided that I would throw lions in as well for a "yellow lion party". Yellow Food Cousin Joseph
The six cousin cubs. The ferocious nephew cubs all attacking the poor, defenseless uncle lion.
William, the littlest cub!
The cubs leaping for their lives through the flaming ring of fire!
Michael's first Birthday gift was a sandbox from Daddy and Mommy.
Opening Gifts
Oma
Cake Time!
Cubs will be cubs!
The Lion Tamers
Aunt Karisse got the boys in their pj's for me and then held them on the couch while we cleaned up.
Thanks so much for all of the love and time you put into Michael's party, Bethany! The boys are still talking about it and had to show "Miss" Amanda their magnets they got in their goody bags today. Tonight they were being lions with their very own lion hats! Daniel is now sleeping with the squirrel he got, too! It was a very special time for them, and we appreciate all that you did to make it so.
Our "Lil J" is very outgoing, and has never met a stranger. He is very thoughtful and perceptive. He is always looking for ways to serve and offer a helping hand. He loves looking at maps, building tents and drawing spaceships.
Michael - 3 1/2 years
Our "Michael-Man" is full of enthusiasm for life. When he is awake, he is rarely quiet. He has a wonderful imagination and makes sound effects for nearly everything. He is a friend of every animal he meets.
