Chicago Children's Museum

Jonathan and Chris B. have been in Dallas the past four days on a business trip. This afternoon Chris B.'s wife, April and their son, Brady went with me and the boys to pick them up at the airport in Chicago. We left early enough to spend a few hours at the Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier. We had a wonderful day!

The boys loved pretending to be firemen.

My lil flowers...

Here are the boys holding an "umbrella" in front of a screen. There was a projector displaying interactive images onto the screen. The boys' movement in front of the screen affected the "rain".

Jonathan and Michael playing in the grocery store

This was probably Jonathan's favorite exhibit of the day. I think he must have spent half an hour restocking shelves, checking out groceries, assisting customers, etc. It was so cute to see them interacting with their fellow museum visitors.

All that time in the grocery store can make one hungry. Here he is as Chef Jonathan

In the Wilderness exhibit, the boys got to try some rock climbing...

Row, row, row your boat...

Searching for craw fish...

The boys also enjoyed climbing, balancing and jumping...

Final stop before leaving the museum...a couple of small aquariums.

We had dinner at a Giordano's across the street from Midway Airport and waited for the guys' plane to land.

Tired faces...

While waiting, Mrs. B. and Brady taught the boys how to play Brady's "ice cream" game.

It was a very fun day. All the boys were exhausted in the end (and the mommies were too! :-)
