Mother's Day

We had a lovely Mother's Day afternoon over at the showroom. We celebrated with both of our families...we're up to 23 people now! (Stephen was engaged on Friday to Evelyn Chu, so there will be 24 soon!)

It was a fun afternoon. We watched the movies "Ratatouille", a portion of "Planet Earth" and "Love's Unfolding Dream", with the latter being the unanimous favorite among the females present.

When we returned home around 11pm, Jonathan and I were exhausted. As we sat in the car in the garage mustering up all of our strength to unload the car and carry our "sleeping" boys in the house, we heard a little voice in the back seat. It was lil J saying, "Mommy, my stardin'." I incredulously inquired, "You're starving?". "Yes, Mommy, my stardin' "...after feeding our "stardin' little monkey, we did finally get to bed!
