Children are amazingly resilient. Lil J hasn't slowed down a bit. He hasn't whined, complained, or even expected any type of special treatment. I've only given him two doses of Tylenol Codeine and that has been for my peace of mind vs. his request. I keep asking him if his finger hurts (it should be throbbing) and he just says, "No, Mommy. It's getting all better."
We go see a hand specialist tomorrow afternoon. I think things are healing well. The reattached portion of his finger looks pink and healthy. The sutures and incision aren't red or inflamed. So far so good.
It has been funny though to watch Michael, who is such a little sucker for sympathy. Tonight as I was giving lil J his antibiotic, Michael held up his hand and said, "boo boo" and begged for medicine. (So, I went and got his liquid vitamins and gave him a few drops of "medicine" too)
