North Carolina Transportation Museum

After CEDIA EXPO ended yesterday afternoon, we headed north to Charlotte, NC. This morning, I met up my very good friend, Kelly and her little ones, Drew and Jillian. We met at the North Carolina Transportation Museum. Our boys absolutely loved being surrounded by everything with wheels!Michael checking his weight on a freight scale.
Drew radioing to the control tower

Buttons to push...

Kelly had this great idea to take a picture of the boys sitting on this bench next to the word "good", thinking that we could take a picture of our "good" boys. We no sooner started trying to get a picture and they all began wiggling, clowning and doing the opposite!
I guess boys will be boys!
Michael loved pointing out the letters on this sign and Drew (age 4) came up and read it for him!

It was so wonderful to spend time with Kelly. This was the first I'd seen Jillian since she was born in May and so fun to see how big Drew is getting. Jillian is just full of smiles and Drew is a truly sweet little boy.
Caboose "drivers"

The boys all took turns opening the doors for their mommies pushing strollers. What gentlemen!

The highlight of the museum was a ride on the turntable.

Our view from the turntable as it rotated.

All smiles the whole time.

After leaving the museum we went to lunch and then to the Dan Nicholas Park to play. It was an amazing park, we just didn't have enough time there!
