This morning the boys and I headed up north of Atlanta to Alpharetta. We attended Vision Baptist Church. The folks there really extended southern hospitality and the boys really enjoyed their classes.
At the end of the service, I was surpised to see all of the children file into the auditorium to sing a special song for Grandparents' Day. The boys sang along like it was something they'd been practicing for weeks.
After leaving church, we drove to the Old Milton Country Fair. My mistake was telling the boys we were going to a "fair". In their mind and from their experience all "fairs" are like the Elkhart County 4-H Fair or The Canadian National Exhibition. Needless to say this one didn't quite meet their expectaions. It was a nice little country fair and they did have some fun!
