Backseat Compass

Sign up began today for the Library's summer reading program.

We drove Daddy's car instead of the van and Michael happened to notice the digital letter on the rearview mirror which indicates the direction we were driving.

From the backseat, Michael asked, "What is that blue E up there?" I was driving and didn't really process his question, until I heard lil J's answer, "Oh Michael, that E is for East. We're driving East right now."

I turned around and looked at him and asked, "How did you know that?" He just shrugged his shoulders and smiled. I found out later that Grammy also has a compass on her rearview mirror and she has talked to him about what the different letters mean.
