Monday at the Fair

This morning the 2009 Miss America, Katy Stam came to our Fair!

She attended the ribbon cutting of the Miracle of Life Calving Exhibit.

Without a crown, the boys didn't find her very impressive. So, perhaps the greater attraction was talking with Morgan Lewallen, the 2009 Fair Queen:

The boys were in utter awe at the models in the 4-H exhibit building. To be honest, I think this was the first year I've even looked at them.

Ahhh, life as a mommy of boys. I think I see model cars in my future!
