Mary Poppins on Broadway

By this morning, we felt pretty confident as we headed to the NYC subway for some sight-seeing. After waiting more than a half an hour for a specific train, we were no longer feeling confident... eventually we learned that some trains only run on weekdays and not on weekends! We finally made it to Rockefeller Center for about 20 minutes before we had to head back up to Broadway.

Times Square

Daddy gave us the incredible, unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime treat of seeing Mary Poppins on Broadway! The show was absolultey amazing. I was concerned with doing the 2pm matinee that the boys would fall asleep, since they typically nap every afternoon from 1-3. But, they were literally sitting straight up, on the edge of their seats the entire 3 hour show. They were absolutely captivated. At the end, Mary Poppins "flew" up into the air, directly in front of our balcony seats. The boys have since been telling everyone they see about it.

Afterwards, we walked across the street to Ruby Tuesday for dinner.

While waiting for our food, Michael was up to his typical entertaining ways as I looked over and saw him balancing this crayon on his nose. He is such a clown and is always making us laugh!

We had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable trip. The boys and I are so grateful that we were able to go with Daddy on this business trip to New England. We had some unforgettable experiences and have made memories to last a lifetime!
