New Hampshire

My friend Kelly told me about this great reciprocal pass from Western North Carolina Nature Center. For $60, I was able to buy a year-long, family membership which entitles us to complimentary admission to hundreds of Children's Museums, Aquariums, Zoos and Science Centers across the country. (It even includes numerous Chicago museums...definitely the deal of the decade)! So, after church this morning at Trinity Baptist Church in Concord, NH, we headed south to Manchester, NH to the See Science Center. The boys had a lot of fun interacting with the various science exhibits.

Digging right in...The Dino Dig
The quote of the day came from Lil J:
"Mommy, do you know what?"
"When dinosaurs died, they lost their bones."
Down on the farm

LEGO Lady Liberty
(14ft tall!)

The worlds largest permanent lego exhibit...over 3 million bricks!

BUBBLES!

Experiments in Electricity - Michael volunteered to demonstrate how static electricity can be hair raising!

Feeling electric shock traveling through a human chain...

Operating a robotic arm in a sandbox...

Trying their muscles out on the pulleys...

The magnetic gear board...

Trying my reaction speed in comparison to that of an ice hockey goalie. Let's just say at .53 seconds I was very slow and don't have what it takes.
It snowed all day! These were the mums outside our hotel.
