Every child I've ever known has always entered this phase. It is the phase that at time frustrates and exasperates every busy, harried mother. You know that season of childhood when young inquiring minds want to know..."Why?"
Several times throughout the day I noticed that lil J responded to my instructions by asking, "Why?". Well, my suspicions were confirmed as we were preparing for bed tonight....our conversation went like this...
Mommy: "It's time to get ready for bed."
Lil J: "Why?"
Mommy: "Because It's 7:30."
Lil J: "Why?"
Mommy: "Because it's bedtime."
Lil J: "Why?"
Mommy: Because the sun went "nigh-night"
Lil J: "Why?"
Mommy: "Because that's what God made the sun to do when it is time for bed."
Lil J: "Why?"
Mommy: "Put your pajamas on, now."
...Mommy putting lil J's jammies on...
Lil J: "Do these jammies have footies?"
Mommy: "No."
Lil J: "Why?"
